The Vibrant Palette of Memory
The second Nuestros Recuerdos release evokes the colorful decorations of Día de Muertos, containing an añejo tequila aged 22 months in whiskey casks and finished 6 months in artisanal rum casks from Martinique.
Color
Like Mexican culture itself, Día de Muertos is inseparable from color. During the celebration, vibrant hues become a language of memory, joy, and remembrance. Ofrendas glow with cempasúchil blossoms, intricate papel picado, and festive decorations that transform homes and public spaces alike.
The Story
Tequila
For this limited edition, Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco orchestrated a distinctive aging process to create an exceptional añejo tequila. The spirit is matured for 22 months in American whiskey casks, followed by a six-month finish in artisanal rhum agricole casks from Martinique. These casks impart refined tropical and vegetal notes, lending the tequila remarkable depth and complexity.

Decanter
The white ceramic surface of this decanter features a rough glaze inspired by alfeñique, the traditional sugar paste used in Día de Muertos confections. Its illustration brings together vibrant cempasúchil blossoms and papel picado motifs in a vivid celebration of color and tradition. At the front, a handcrafted silver-plated brass ornament accented with colorful enamels portrays a classic sugar skull sweet.
