Our Craft

Our craft is shaped by time, devotion, and human touch. A pursuit of artisanship guides everything we create.

Notes on Craft

The Rhythm of Craftsmanship

From raw clay to glazed brushstrokes, it takes seven days to craft the decanter for Clase Azul México Tequila Reposado, our artisanal legacy.

Mastery in Every Detail

The decoration of Clase Azul Tequila Ultra is entrusted only to our most skilled artisans, as its platinum detailing is applied from memory and revealed only after firing.

Rooted in Tradition

The agave for Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado is slow-cooked in a traditional pit oven for over 110 hours, a method rooted in the heritage of tequila making.

The Luxury of Time

The decorative cap of Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero takes up to 12 days to complete, meticulously crafted by hand through time-honored techniques and using locally sourced materials from the state of Guerrero.

Time & Craft

Our Process

From the shaping of clay and hand-applied brushstrokes to the harvesting of agave, patient fermentation, and aging in select casks, every creation at Clase Azul México is guided by the human touch. Each step is shaped by deliberate care, masterful skill, and generations of inherited knowledge, giving form not only to our spirits and ceramics, but to the artistry and intention behind all we create.
