The Scents That Awaken Memory
The third Nuestros Recuerdos release honors the aromas of Día de Muertos, led by cempasúchil, holding an aromatic añejo tequila aged 25 months in American whiskey and Armagnac casks.
Aroma
Día de Muertos unfolds as an immersive olfactory landscape where copal smoke rises from ofrendas, sweet breads and seasonal dishes fill the home, and markets overflow with tangerines, tejocotes, and other ripe fruits. Among these layered scents, cempasúchil stands apart, releasing a warm, herbaceous fragrance believed to guide returning souls. Together, these aromas create an enveloping atmosphere of memory and presence.
The Story
